Ingredients:

  • 4 Salmon fillets, 6 oz each
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Use a paper towel to pat each salmon fillet completely dry on all sides to ensure a roasted texture.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the melted unsalted butter, minced garlic, and fresh lemon juice to create the glaze.
  4. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Season each fillet with salt and black pepper.
  5. Generously brush the garlic-butter glaze over the top of each fillet and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.
  6. Bake on the center rack for 12–15 minutes until the fish turns from translucent pink to opaque pale pink and edges are light golden-brown.
  7. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the thickest part of the fillet reaches 135°F (57°C). Remove from the oven immediately and let rest for 3-5 minutes to reach a final internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
