  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Mexican blend, or your choice)
  • 1 can diced green chilies (optional)
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning according to package instructions.
  • In a large bowl, mix the hash brown potatoes, cream of soup, sour cream, and 1 cup of shredded cheese. Add the taco-seasoned beef and stir to combine.
