4 slices of rye bread
4 oz sliced turkey (deli-style or roasted)
1 cup coleslaw (homemade or store-bought)
4 slices Swiss cheese
2 tbsp Thousand Island dressing (or Russian dressing)
2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
Instructions
Spread butter on one side of each slice of rye bread.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, onto the skillet.
Layer each slice with 2 oz of turkey, 1 slice of Swiss cheese, and 1/2 cup of coleslaw. Drizzle with 1 tbsp of Thousand Island dressing.
Top each sandwich with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.
Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, pressing gently, until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted.
Slice and serve warm.
