Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin-on
Instructions:
- Whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, and lemon pepper seasoning in a bowl or zip-top bag.
- Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels to ensure a better crust.
- Coat the fillets thoroughly in the marinade and let them sit for 5–10 minutes while the heat source preheats.
- Cook the salmon using one of three methods: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes, Air Fry at 390°F (199°C) for 8–10 minutes, or Pan Sear over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side.
- Remove the salmon from heat when the internal temperature hits 135°F (57°C).
- Transfer to a plate and let the fish rest for 3–5 minutes to reach a final internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
