Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin-on

Instructions:

  1. Whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, and lemon pepper seasoning in a bowl or zip-top bag.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels to ensure a better crust.
  3. Coat the fillets thoroughly in the marinade and let them sit for 5–10 minutes while the heat source preheats.
  4. Cook the salmon using one of three methods: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes, Air Fry at 390°F (199°C) for 8–10 minutes, or Pan Sear over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side.
  5. Remove the salmon from heat when the internal temperature hits 135°F (57°C).
  6. Transfer to a plate and let the fish rest for 3–5 minutes to reach a final internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
