Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/3 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup onion, grated finely
- 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, grated onion, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, and seasonings. Gently mix with your hands or a fork until just combined to avoid over-mixing.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop approximately 2 tablespoons of the mixture and roll into balls roughly 1.5 inches in diameter. Place on the sheet with one inch of space between each meatball.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake for 15–20 minutes. For a caramelized finish, turn on the broiler for the final 2 minutes. Remove when the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
