Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/3 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup onion, grated finely
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, grated onion, Parmesan, garlic, parsley, and seasonings. Gently mix with your hands or a fork until just combined to avoid over-mixing.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop approximately 2 tablespoons of the mixture and roll into balls roughly 1.5 inches in diameter. Place on the sheet with one inch of space between each meatball.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake for 15–20 minutes. For a caramelized finish, turn on the broiler for the final 2 minutes. Remove when the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
