Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey (93% lean)
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh Italian parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Whisk the beaten egg, parmesan, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Note: Mixing seasonings first prevents clumps in the meat
  2. Add the ground turkey and panko breadcrumbs. Gently combine with your hands or a fork, mixing only until just incorporated.
  3. Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the mix and roll between your palms into 1.5 inch balls.
  4. Place the spheres on a prepared tray, leaving a bit of space between them.
  5. Choose your cooking method: Bake: 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes. Air Fry: 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes. Pan Fry: Medium heat in olive oil for 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Cook until the exterior is browned and the internal temperature hits 165°F (74°C).
  7. Remove from heat and let the meatballs rest for 5 minutes. Note: This allows juices to redistribute
