Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) ground turkey (93% lean)
- 1/2 cup (45g) breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
- 3 cloves (15g) garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup (10g) fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tsp (5g) dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp (3g) salt
- 1/4 tsp (1g) black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the beaten egg, milk, minced garlic, and herbs until combined.
- Stir in the ground turkey and breadcrumbs, mixing with your hands or a fork just until combined; do not overwork the meat to avoid toughness.
- Scoop approximately 2 tablespoons of the mixture and roll gently into balls roughly 1.5 inches (3.8cm) in diameter.
- Place meatballs on the baking sheet, ensuring they have space between them for air circulation.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, or air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes, until mahogany-colored and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
