Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) ground turkey (93% lean)
  • 1/2 cup (45g) breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) milk
  • 3 cloves (15g) garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup (10g) fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp (5g) dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp (3g) salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the beaten egg, milk, minced garlic, and herbs until combined.
  3. Stir in the ground turkey and breadcrumbs, mixing with your hands or a fork just until combined; do not overwork the meat to avoid toughness.
  4. Scoop approximately 2 tablespoons of the mixture and roll gently into balls roughly 1.5 inches (3.8cm) in diameter.
  5. Place meatballs on the baking sheet, ensuring they have space between them for air circulation.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes, until mahogany-colored and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
