Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
Instructions:
- Pat the salmon fillets thoroughly with paper towels to remove surface moisture.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the marinade evenly over the top and sides of the fillets.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
- Lightly grease the air fryer basket with avocado oil and arrange fillets in a single layer.
- Air fry for 7–10 minutes until the edges are mahogany-colored and the flesh flakes easily.
- Remove the salmon when the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C).
- Let the fillets rest on a plate for 5 minutes to reach a final internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
