Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin-on
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 large lemon, cut into wedges
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Use paper towels to pat the salmon fillets bone-dry on all sides, especially the skin, to ensure a crispy sear.
  2. Drizzle each fillet with avocado oil, spreading it in a thin, even coat using your fingers.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning generously over the flesh side of the fillets, pressing it lightly into the oil.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down, leaving small gaps between pieces for airflow.
  7. Cook for 6–8 minutes until the edges are deeply golden-brown and the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium.
  8. Remove fillets and let them rest on a plate for 2–3 minutes to redistribute juices.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
