Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin-on
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1 large lemon, cut into wedges
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Use paper towels to pat the salmon fillets bone-dry on all sides, especially the skin, to ensure a crispy sear.
- Drizzle each fillet with avocado oil, spreading it in a thin, even coat using your fingers.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
- Sprinkle the seasoning generously over the flesh side of the fillets, pressing it lightly into the oil.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down, leaving small gaps between pieces for airflow.
- Cook for 6–8 minutes until the edges are deeply golden-brown and the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium.
- Remove fillets and let them rest on a plate for 2–3 minutes to redistribute juices.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
