Ingredients:
- 4 tbsp (30g) all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp (15g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp (25g) granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp (1g) baking powder
- 0.5g salt
- 3 tbsp (45ml) whole milk
- 1 tbsp (14g) melted unsalted butter
- 1/4 tsp (1ml) vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp (15g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Whisk the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt directly in the mug until no large cocoa clumps remain.
- Pour in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Stir gently with a fork until the batter is smooth and glossy, stopping as soon as flour streaks vanish.
- Push the chocolate chips into the center of the batter without stirring them in to create a molten pocket.
- Microwave on high for 60 seconds until the top looks set but slightly shiny in the center.
- Let the mug sit undisturbed for 2 minutes to allow residual heat to finish the cook.
