Ingredients:
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/3 cup almond flour
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/3 cup buffalo sauce
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp honey
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions:
- Combine the ground turkey, beaten egg, almond flour, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and onion powder in a large bowl.
- Mix the ingredients using a fork or your hands until just incorporated. Note: Do not overwork the meat or it will become rubbery.
- Using a cookie scoop, portion the mixture into 20 equal balls.
- Roll the balls gently between your palms until they are smooth and round.
- For the oven method, place the meatballs on a parchment lined sheet and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes.
- For the air fryer method, cook at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Remove the Buffalo Turkey Meatballs from the heat when the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Whisk the melted butter, buffalo sauce, honey, and cayenne pepper in a medium bowl.
- Toss the hot meatballs in the glaze until they are evenly coated and glossy.
