Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried parsley

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (218°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Pat the salmon fillets bone-dry with paper towels to ensure a proper crust.
  2. Place the fillets on the parchment-lined pan. Brush each fillet with a thin layer of olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and dried parsley. Spoon the glaze over each fillet, coating the top and sides.
  4. Bake on the center rack for 12 to 15 minutes until edges are opaque. For extra crispiness, toggle the broiler for the final 2 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and transfer the fillets to a plate to rest for 5 minutes before serving to redistribute juices.
