Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp dried parsley
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (218°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Pat the salmon fillets bone-dry with paper towels to ensure a proper crust.
- Place the fillets on the parchment-lined pan. Brush each fillet with a thin layer of olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and dried parsley. Spoon the glaze over each fillet, coating the top and sides.
- Bake on the center rack for 12 to 15 minutes until edges are opaque. For extra crispiness, toggle the broiler for the final 2 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and transfer the fillets to a plate to rest for 5 minutes before serving to redistribute juices.
