Ingredients
Scale
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
8 oz egg noodles
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic (minced)
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until golden and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, then bring to a simmer. Add the egg noodles and cook until tender.
Stir in Parmesan cheese, return the chicken to the pan, and mix everything until creamy and well combined.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For extra richness, add a splash of white wine before adding the broth.
Substitute half-and-half for heavy cream for a lighter version.
Adjust seasoning to taste and add more cheese for extra flavor.
