  • ½ cup buttermilk

 

  • ½ cup hot coffee

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round cake pan.
  • In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add oil, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
  • Stir in buttermilk and hot coffee, mixing until batter is smooth.
  • Pour batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
