  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes with green chiles, drained
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef, drain fat, and stir in taco seasoning and water. Let simmer for a few minutes.
  • Layer the beef mixture in a baking dish, then spread drained tomatoes over the beef.
  • In a bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, and onions. Spread this mixture over the tomatoes.
  • Top with shredded cheese, followed by a layer of biscuit dough on top.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, until biscuits are golden and casserole is heated through.
