Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  • In a separate bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Divide the cream cheese mixture into two bowls. Color one portion with orange food coloring.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the orange cream cheese mixture and the plain mixture (or black-colored if using) over the brownie batter.
  • Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the cream cheese mixtures into the brownie batter, creating a marbled effect.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
