  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add onion and garlic to the skillet, cooking until softened.
  • In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, ground ginger, red pepper flakes, and cornstarch dissolved in water.
  • Add broccoli to the skillet, stirring to combine. Pour in the sauce mixture.
  • Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes until broccoli is tender and sauce thickens.
  • Serve over rice or noodles.

Notes

You can substitute ground chicken or turkey for a lighter version. Adjust the red pepper flakes for more or less spice.
