This Garlic Parmesan Chicken recipe is a quick and easy dinner made with tender, juicy chicken breasts coated in a savory garlic butter sauce and topped with Parmesan cheese. Perfect for weeknights, this dish is flavorful, satisfying, and pairs perfectly with pasta, veggies, or a side salad.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  • Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over the chicken. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly on top.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C).
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use chicken thighs instead of breasts for a juicier option.
  • Pair with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or pasta for a complete meal.
  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
