Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper, sauté until softened.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in ketchup, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, mustard, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
  • Serve the beef mixture on hamburger buns, and enjoy!
