Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups fresh or 3 cans (14.5 oz each) green beans, drained
  • 2 cans (10.5 oz each) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups French fried onions, divided

Instructions

  • Add green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper into the crockpot. Stir until combined.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, stir in half of the fried onions.
  • Just before serving, top with the remaining fried onions for added crunch.
  • Serve directly from the crockpot or transfer to a serving dish.

Notes

  • You can use frozen green beans if fresh or canned are unavailable. Thaw before adding to the crockpot.
  • Add shredded cheese or sautéed mushrooms for a richer flavor.
