  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers or breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Prepare three bowls: one with milk, one with shredded cheddar cheese, and one with crushed crackers mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken breast into the milk, coat it with cheddar cheese, then press into the cracker mixture.
  4. Place coated chicken breasts into the prepared baking dish. Drizzle melted butter over the top.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the crust is golden and crispy.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add Parmesan cheese to the breading mixture.
  • Use Panko breadcrumbs for a lighter, crispier texture.
