  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

For the Cinnamon Swirl:

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

For the Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Add milk, eggs, and vanilla. Stir until smooth, then mix in melted butter. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter for the swirl. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the cake batter and swirl with a knife.
  4. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. While the cake bakes, prepare the glaze by whisking powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over the warm cake before serving.
