  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups Christmas M&Ms

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
  4. Add vanilla and eggs to the mixture; beat until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the Christmas M&Ms gently.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Add extra M&Ms on top of the cookie dough balls before baking for a festive look.
