This Chicken Cordon Bleu Meatloaf combines juicy ground chicken, ham, and Swiss cheese for a flavorful and easy-to-make dinner recipe.

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices deli ham
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until fully combined.
  3. Press half the chicken mixture into the prepared loaf pan.
  4. Layer ham and Swiss cheese on top, then spread Dijon mustard evenly over the layer.
  5. Top with the remaining chicken mixture and press down to seal the edges.
  6. Spread mayonnaise on top of the loaf for a golden crust.
  7. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Substitute Swiss cheese with Gruyère for a richer flavor.
  • Serve with steamed vegetables or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
