  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
  • 8 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or shells)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, and onion powder over medium heat. Stir until smooth.
  • Add shredded chicken, sour cream, and shredded cheddar cheese to the skillet, stirring until cheese is melted and sauce is creamy.
  • Stir in cooked pasta until well combined.
  • Transfer to a greased casserole dish (optional) and top with extra cheddar and Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden, or serve directly from the skillet.
  • Serve hot.
