  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas (optional)
  • 1/2 cup diced carrots (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked chicken, cooked rice, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. If using peas and carrots, stir them into the mixture.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.

  • You can use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
