  • 5-6 croissants, torn into chunks

  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced

  • 1 cup blueberries

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 ½ cups milk

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Powdered sugar (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

  • Layer croissant pieces and berries in the dish.

  • In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla; whisk until combined.

  • Pour custard mixture evenly over croissants and berries. Press gently to soak.

  • Let sit for 10-15 minutes or refrigerate overnight.

  • Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and set.

 

  • Cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar if desired, and serve warm.
