This BBQ Chicken Grilled Cheese is a bold, flavorful twist on a classic sandwich. Loaded with juicy shredded chicken, tangy BBQ sauce, and gooey melted cheese, it's grilled to crispy perfection. Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken

  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce

  • 4 slices sourdough or thick sandwich bread

  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • 2 tbsp butter (softened)

  • Optional: red onion slices, jalapeños, or pickles

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until well coated.

  2. Butter one side of each bread slice.

  3. Place two slices butter-side down on a skillet. Layer with cheddar, BBQ chicken, and any optional toppings.

  4. Add the top slices, butter-side up.

  5. Grill over medium heat 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden and cheese is melted.

  6. Slice and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
