  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced or in small balls

  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves

  • 23 tbsp balsamic glaze (or reduction)

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: arugula or spinach for a base

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Hull and slice the strawberries. Slice mozzarella if using a block.

  2. Assemble the salad: On a platter, alternate layers of strawberries and mozzarella. Tuck fresh basil leaves between layers.

  3. Drizzle & season: Drizzle balsamic glaze over the salad. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
