Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix until combined.
  • Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with sour cream. Fold in diced apples.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan, spreading evenly.
